Competition Rules
Allowed fish species for points:
- Kob
- Galjoen
- Steenbra
- Blacktail
- Barbel
Points System:
- Three (3) biggest fish per specie will be weighed in.
- One (1) point per fish per specie that are weighed in.
- One (1) extra point for the biggest fish for the day per specie.
- Barbels will be weighed together and the weight will be converted to points.
Weigh In Times:
- Thursday: 17:00 – 18:30
- Friday: 17:00 – 18:30
- Saturday: 12:00 – 13:30
Marking Of Fish:
Fish that are weighed have their tails cut off crosswise; any fish that arrives at the scale with a cut tail is not accepted.
Barbels that are weighed in can be left there unless you want to keep them, in which case they will be marked.
This competition will adhere to all Namibian Fishing Regulations, not just listed below.
